Went to Asbury Park today. That town is so fucking different from the failed abyss it was when I discovered Convention Hall and the Stone Pony. The huge lobby of Convention Hall now has a consierge booth and stores lining the walls as opposed to nothing and a little stand that sold candy. Every space on the boardwalk now has a really nice restaurant or shop in there and not...well nothing. It really is incredible. Parking cost money too! Like...wow. It is really pleasant there now though and the change is welcome even if it isnt the place I can look at and think rock and roll anymore.
Props to the candyteria which is a candy store on the Asbury Park boardwalk and it is incredible. Think of any candy and they have it. They also make cotton candy on the spot and incredddddible fudge.
