Attn Bands:

Lately, a lot of bands no longer have an official website. Rather, their myspace is their only webpage. I have a giant problem with this. While I do think it is very beneficial for every band to have a myspace for promotional reasons, I find it weird that bands would rather have a one page site plagued by advertisements for a TV show or some kind of deodorant than have their own identity on the internet as an official source for fans of the band to turn to for tour dates, pictures, news etc.

If you're in a band, dont let myspace control how you communicate with your fans. It makes you look bad.
